Corneille (Guillaume Cornelis van Beverloo, 1922–2010) was a Dutch artist and key member of the CoBrA movement, an avant-garde group formed in post-WWII Europe. Named after Copenhagen, Brussels, and Amsterdam, CoBrA embraced spontaneous, intuitive creation and rejected traditional artistic conventions. See below an impression of Corneille’s works.
