Fine Art Discoveries and the Hollywood sign
A few years ago, our company managed to acquire some pieces of metal from the iconic Hollywood Sign. A portion of this historic metal has been incorporated into our exclusive Swiss watches under the brand name Hollywood Watch Company. It was such a unique project that it even received mention in the New York Times. You can read more about it here!
Inspired by the success of the Barbie movie and aligned with the 100-year anniversary of the Hollywood sign in LA, we seized the opportunity to embark on a new, one-of-a-kind project. This venture combines cinematic and artistic Hollywood history, creating a unique artwork that pays homage to the iconic Hollywood sign and already iconic Barbie movie.
About the work
Completed on a 12 by 12-inch segment of the authentic Hollywood sign metal, this oil painting captures a portrait of Barbie from the 2023 movie. The portrait features Barbie dressed in a vibrant pink cowboy ensemble, complete with a striking pink cowboy hat, a stylish wild rag around her neck, and, naturally, a matching pink cowboy vest.
The artwork is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and provenance for the Hollywood sign metal. Additionally, customization is available, allowing you to have the piece framed according to your personal preferences.
